This workshop is designed to provide organizations with best practices for implementing the AP/OD curriculum to migrant families with children ages 0-5. Participants will learn how to engage families, provide ongoing support, and evaluate the effectiveness of the curriculum.
The workshop will cover the following topics:
- Introduction to the AP/OD Parent Curriculum: Participants will learn about the AP/OD parent curriculum and its evidence-based practices. They will also learn about the importance of parent engagement in their children’s learning and how to create a curriculum that is tailored to the needs of migrant families with children ages 0-5.
- Engaging Families: Participants will learn best practices for engaging families, including how to build trust, how to communicate effectively, and how to involve families in decision-making.
- Providing Ongoing Support: Participants will learn how to provide ongoing support to families, including how to provide resources, how to offer feedback, and how to address challenges that may arise.
- Evaluating Effectiveness: Participants will learn how to evaluate the effectiveness of the curriculum, including how to collect data, how to analyze data, and how to use data to improve the curriculum.
By the end of the workshop, participants will have the skills and knowledge to implement the AP/OD parent curriculum for migrant families with children ages 0-5. They will also have the tools to engage families, provide ongoing support, and evaluate the effectiveness of the curriculum.
Target Audience:
This online workshop is designed for 3rd Edition implementing partners this can include certified facilitators, program managers, and administrators who oversee the AP/OD program for their organization/agency/school.
